The Wood Awards 2026 shortlist: the furniture to study

Fourteen furniture and objects entries make this year's shortlist, from a student bench to a mirror made from hazel stems. Winners announced 25 November.

The Wood Awards has unveiled its 2026 shortlist for furniture and objects, fourteen entries across four categories, from a student bench to a mirror made from hazel stems. The furniture and objects jury is led by designer and maker Sebastian Cox RDI, alongside design consultant Caroline Till, curator Hugo Macdonald, woodworker Sophie Sellu and Ercol chairman Henry Tadros. Winners are announced on 25 November.
