Fabric Laying Operator - Upholstery Manufacturing

A multi-national furniture and upholstery manufacturer in Bilston, West Midlands (WV14) is looking for a Fabric Laying Operator to join its cutting room, laying and preparing fabric and leather for cutting on a busy upholstery production line. What you'll be doing - Laying fabric and leather to specification ready for cutting - Checking rolls for faults, pattern repeats and pile direction - Supporting the cutting team and keeping the cutting room organised and stocked - Hours 6.00am to 2.30pm, Monday to Friday What we're looking for - Experience in a cutting room, fabric laying or upholstery manufacturing environment preferred - Good attention to detail and a practical, organised approach - Reliable and comfortable with early starts - Based within reach of Bilston, Wolverhampton, Walsall or Dudley What's on offer - £25,000 to £28,000 per year depending on experience (to be confirmed at interview) - Permanent, full-time role with free parking and a supportive team If you have cutting room or upholstery manufacturing experience in the West Midlands, we would love to hear from you.
