Upholsterer

This role suits a skilled upholsterer who is confident on chairs, sofas and stools and can deliver a consistent, quality finish in a busy contract upholstery workshop. What you will be doing as an Upholsterer - Upholstering contract chairs, sofas and stools for the hospitality and commercial sectors - Cutting and foaming, and preparing frames for upholstery - Studding, fluting backs and deep buttoning - Fitting fabric, vinyl and leather to a high standard - Working to specifications and production deadlines What we are looking for in an Upholsterer - Proven upholstery experience on chairs, sofas and stools, ideally in contract or commercial upholstery - Skills in cutting and foaming, studding, fluting and deep buttoning - A good eye for detail and pride in a quality finish - Reliable and able to work well as part of a team What is on offer - £15 per hour, depending on experience - Weekend overtime at a higher rate - Monday to Friday, 8am to 4.30pm - 29 days annual leave including bank holidays and Christmas shutdown - Free parking and canteen facilities If you are an upholsterer looking for steady contract upholstery work in Rossendale, within easy reach of Accrington, Rawtenstall, Bury, Blackburn and Burnley, we would love to hear from you.
