Furniture Technician / Upholsterer

A national furniture repair company is seeking a Furniture Technician / Upholsterer for a permanent, field-based role covering Swindon and surrounding areas. Attending pre-booked appointments at customers' homes, you will carry out expert repairs to upholstered, leather and fabric furniture on behalf of major UK retailers. You will receive a company vehicle, full product training, uniform, tablet and all necessary tools. This role offers two salary bands depending on experience — Trainee salary: £28,000 – £32,000 | Experienced salary: £30,000 – £36,000. Previous experience in upholstery, leather repair, furniture restoration or a similar practical trade is required. Trainees with a strong practical background and eagerness to learn will also be considered. A full UK driving licence is essential.
