Furniture Technician / Upholsterer

A well-established furniture services business is seeking an experienced Furniture Technician / Upholsterer for a permanent position covering the Carlisle and Lancaster area. This is a field-based role carrying out repairs to upholstered, leather and fabric furniture for a client base across the North West and Cumbria. What we are looking for: • Demonstrable experience in upholstery and furniture repair • Skilled in leather and fabric repair, foam cutting and colour correction/blending • Confident working across a variety of furniture types and finishes • Professional and tidy — the role involves working in clients' homes and business premises • Full UK driving licence required What is on offer: • Permanent, full-time employment • Salary £24,000 – £32,000 per year, depending on experience • Company vehicle provided • Covering Carlisle and Lancaster (CA1 area) This vacancy is managed exclusively by The Talent Branch, specialist recruiters for the furniture and upholstery industry.
