Furniture Designer (SolidWorks) North London | Permanent | Full Time | Salary on Application A prestigious luxury joinery workshop in North London is looking for an experienced Furniture Designer to join their technical team. This is a rare opportunity to work on some of the finest bespoke residential commissions in the world. The Role You will be responsible for producing highly detailed technical drawings using SolidWorks, from initial design concept through to construction-ready documentation. Working closely with clients, designers and the workshop team, you will play a central role in delivering projects on time and to the exceptional standard the business is known for. Key Responsibilities Producing detailed 'for construction' drawings in SolidWorks for high-end residential joinery commissions Conducting site surveys and translating results into accurate technical documentation Coordinating with trades, contractors and specialist suppliers throughout the project lifecycle Creating schedules and reporting deviations to ensure accurate costing Mentoring junior draughtspersons and supporting their development What We Are Looking For Minimum 5 years' experience in super-prime residential joinery draughting Minimum 5 years' SolidWorks experience — this is non-negotiable Deep expertise in materials including timber, veneer, glass, metal, upholstery and specialist finishes Strong surveying skills and excellent attention to detail Confident communicator with experience in direct client interaction Microsoft Office proficient The Company An established and highly regarded London workshop producing exquisite bespoke cabinetry and joinery for leading interior designers and private clients.
