CNC Programmer (Homag)

CNC Programmer North London | Permanent | Full Time | Salary on Application An opportunity has arisen to join one of London's most respected luxury bespoke cabinetry workshops as a CNC Programmer, working with Homag CNC woodworking machinery. The Role You will be responsible for translating design specifications and technical drawings into optimised machine programs. Working at the heart of the manufacturing process, you will programme and set multi-axis Homag machines to produce precision components for high-end residential joinery projects. Key Responsibilities Working from 2D technical drawings and 3D models to create and refine CNC programs Managing tooling databases and tool selection for efficient production Assisting with machine setup, testing and commissioning Maintaining program libraries and technical documentation Supporting quality control across the workshop What We Are Looking For Minimum 3 years' CNC programming experience in woodworking or cabinet-making Proficiency with multi-axis Homag CNC machines (BHC, Centateq, Weeke) Practical knowledge of WoodWOP or equivalent Homag software G-Code understanding and CAD/CAM software proficiency Strong knowledge of woodworking materials, joinery processes and timber properties Meticulous attention to detail with excellent mathematical aptitude The Company This is a well-established luxury cabinetry and joinery workshop producing handcrafted commissions for some of the world's finest private residences.
